Welcome to Freegrounds Junior SchoolAspire, Believe, Achieve

Welcome to our website.

We hope that you will  find everything you need on our new website. We have talked to parents, children, staff and governors about the changes and have tried to make the information as accessible as possible. We would welcome any feedback that you have as we develop and add to our website over the next few months.
Many thanks
Mrs Deborah Johnson

Seabra is back!

Yesterday Seabra returned to school after a summer touring Southampton and a final weekend at the Ageas Bowl with the other 196 Marwell Zany Zebras.

Thank you to Mrs Bridgeman for organising the Zany Zebra competition in school and to Madison Beecheno in Year 5 who created Seabra.

If you are in our main reception area you will see Seabra. Do say hello!

Phase 1 of the building project is complete!

Last Friday two classes in Year 5 and two in Year 6 moved back into their new classrooms. Thank you to everyone who helped with the move.(Especially a massive thank you to all the staff and builders who stayed late on Thursday evening to get everything ready for the children on Friday)

Here are two photographs of one of the newly rebuilt and refurbished classrooms just before we moved back in. I hope that you will agree if has made a massive difference and the children were very excited when they saw them! We are now moving into Phase 2 which will run until Christmas and involves the rebuild and refurbishment of the next four classrooms – Beech, Willow, Ash and Sycamore.
